Butterfly and Caterpillar Road Show with 2nd Grade Students 

As a part of an ongoing collaboration with The Audubon Society's Green Kids program, we visit local second grade classrooms each Fall to teach students (and young scientists!) about native caterpillars, butterflies, and moths.

Insect and Plant Behavior Workshop in Taiwan

 I was invited by my colleague I Fang Sun to deliver an interactive 2-day workshop on Insect and Plant Behavior in Hualien, Taiwan, at National Dong Hwa University, and to remain as a scholar-in-residence for 2 weeks in late May/early June 2012. The workshop attracted 25 participants from 5 universities in Taiwan and the People's Republic of China.
